Orders & Delivery
How long will my order take to arrive?
Standard UK delivery takes 3–5 working days. Express delivery takes 1–2 working days. Orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday are dispatched the same day.
How will I know my order has been dispatched?
You will receive an email confirmation with your tracking number as soon as your order leaves us.
Do you ship outside the UK?
We currently ship to UK addresses only. Contact us at hello@momentummechanisms.co.uk if you are based outside the UK and we will do our best to help.
Can I change or cancel my order?
If you need to change or cancel your order please contact us immediately at hello@momentummechanisms.co.uk. We dispatch quickly so we cannot guarantee changes once an order is placed.
Products
Do the kits require glue?
Most of our laser-cut kits are designed to assemble without glue — the joints are precision engineered to hold firmly. However some kits may require a small amount of glue for certain components. We always recommend checking the individual product description or instructions before you begin. If you are unsure please contact us and we will advise.
What tools do I need to assemble a kit?
No special tools are required. Most kits include everything needed. Occasionally a small file or sandpaper may help with tighter fits but this is rarely necessary.
How difficult are the kits to build?
Difficulty varies by product. We rate each product by difficulty level on the product page. If you are unsure which kit is right for you please contact us and we will recommend the best option.
Are the kits suitable for children?
Our range is suitable for ages 10 and up, with some products suitable from age 6. Always check the recommended age on each product page. Younger children may need adult supervision and assistance.
Can I buy replacement parts?
Contact us if you have lost or damaged a part and we will do our best to help source a replacement.
Returns & Refunds
What is your returns policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery on unused, unopened items. Please see our full Returns & Refunds policy for details.
My item arrived damaged — what do I do?
Please email us at hello@momentummechanisms.co.uk with your order number and a photo of the damage and we will arrange a replacement or refund immediately.
I have assembled part of my kit and something is wrong — what do I do?
Contact us and we will do our best to help. If the kit is faulty we will arrange a replacement or refund regardless of assembly status.
Gifts
Can I add a gift message?
Yes — add your gift message at checkout and we will include a handwritten note with your order.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
All orders are packed securely in cardboard cartons with bubble wrap to ensure safe delivery. Our products are presented to a high standard — if you are buying as a gift and would like any special presentation notes please contact us when placing your order. If you would like additional gift wrapping please contact us when placing your order.
